Dr. Gary Gruber is pleased to announce the resumption of his Life Coaching and Consulting practice with the opening of an office in Tubac, Arizona.  He is available to meet with clients in person or virtually via Zoom.  He is accepting new clients by referral and by appointment.  Feel free to contact him via phone or email.

Gary earned degrees from Miami University, (B.A.), Princeton Seminary, (M.Div.). and Penn State University, (M.S. & Ph.D.).  Following his practice as a counselor and psychotherapist in Pennsylvania, he served as a teacher, counselor, chaplain, coach, and department head of Behavior and Ethics at Choate Rosemary Hall. He became the head of several independent schools, helping start three new ones, and for 22 years he has been a consultant and adviser to individuals, schools, and non-profit organizations in the United States and abroad.




Dr. Gruber wrote two books, Seven Decades: A Learning Memoir (2013) and Your Child, Your Choice: Finding the Right School for Your Child.(2014). Pearls From An Irritated Mind (2018) is an illustrated memoir. He co-authored, Understanding and Enjoying Adolescence (1988) and taught a course,“The Doctor Patient Relationship”, to third-year residents in Family Medicine.

Life Coaching & Consulting helps people design, plan and effect the changes they wish to see in their lives. In addition to one-on-one meetings, there may be some recommended reading and homework.  This is a learning and growing experience available to anyone who wants help from an experienced coach in making a desired personal or professional change.
